This week saw the addition of two new members, Ickle Monkey and The Striking Fool. After thoroughly trialling them both we would like to give them both a big welcome. Ickle is relatively new to the css scene and has shown great potential. His ability to listen and follow orders has shown he is a player who can be moulded to our style of play. The Striking Fool is a proven player who has EnemyDown experience with previous clans Confused Gaming and Hardcore.eu. Being an all rounder he'll be a valuable addition to the clan.
We also saw the departure of MfB, who felt it was time to move on. We would all like to wish him the best of luck and are sure he will do well wherever he goes. Good luck buddy!
We played our third EnemyDown Entry match against delinQuent.css. Having won both previous matches we were over confident going into the game and that led to our downfall. We started as terrorists and won the first five rounds. We then took the foot off the gas and some silly mistakes and poor rounds later we found ourselves having lost the half 6-9.
We took a short time to regroup to get the confidence going again knowing we could still win this. However once the pistol round was lost victory was looking more and more distant. We were overwhelmed by their terrorist tactics and couldn't hold our individual positions and they stormed the half winning 13-2.
This was our biggest lost, especially as counter terrorists. Lessons will be learnt and mistakes ironed out. We are waiting on the SourceTV demo to see where we went wrong. Having lost it brought us back down to Earth and highlighted further practiced is needed.
